A quiet and sensitive child, Suzanne Michele grew up enchanted by her natural surroundings in the Kettle Moraine Forest of southeastern Wisconsin.

With poetry in her heart, she studied English literature at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.

​

Life led her to Minnesota where she attended local community classes in St. Paul for drawing, pastels, and botanical art. She also studied drawing and painting at a classical atelier in Minneapolis and took graduate-level art classes focused on painting through the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

Suzanne Michele currently resides in Tucson, Arizona. When she isn't creating...or befriending the Saguaro cacti, she is visiting her three adult daughters in Oregon and New York or visiting family and friends throughout the U.S.
